We're proud to announce that on July 9th, EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH and HELINOR Energy AS signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore a strategic collaboration in the maritime sector.

The partnership aims to integrate EKPO's advanced PEM Hydrogen Fuel cell technology into HELINOR's latest series of scalable maritime power modules - starting with the innovative 'E400' concept. At its core: the NM20 with 400kW fuel cell stack module, delivering unmatched performance and reliability.

EKPO brings state-of-the-art, high-volume fuel cell stack production from Germany - designed for scalability, short lead times, and competitive pricing. HELINOR is addresing the growing demand for clean robust and long-lasting maritime power systems, with megawatt-scale projects expected to become the norm by 2028.

Dr. Stefan Dwenger, CCO & Managing Director, EKPO:

"This collaboration is a great match. We see HELINOR as a key partner to enter the global maritime market."

Mr. Elling Helvig, Co-Founder & Executive Chairman, HELINOR:

"EKPO is a great fit for us. We now have a strong all-European consortium offering vessel owners a real solution to meet emissions compliance - without compromise."

We're excited about what lies ahead and look forward to driving innovation and sustainability together.
